I think it's probably more the way I approach things that I thought someone else is better off in this environment to make sure that I get myself in the space where I knew I could coach well.

So, yeah, it was a big call.

But sometimes when you get a bit older, as you say, you reflect, you figure out, man, this is where I can have fun and be good.

Um, I don't, I don't think it's, I don't know.

I don't feel like I felt like I was, it was mentally tough.

It was more just how am I going to be good?

Yeah.

And, um, and that's what I had to figure out.

And then as I said, I was going to figure it out and not take a job, but.

My contract actually went with the All Blacks until March this year, so I could easily have just sat at home and figured it all out.

But, you know, Clarkie sold it to me and they'd come in and, mate, you know all the boys, have a bit of fun and coach what you want with coops.

Yeah.

So he said come in after Christmas and once I agreed, I was in there in December.

Real long time out of the game.

It was all a shock.

I didn't know.

And I, and I, even up until a couple of days before it happened, I, I did, but that would be, um, what would be, what would happen.
