You know, so he gives me a big hug.
It's not a Johnny Mitchell hug, but it's a big hug.
And he walks off, and I remember thinking, wow.
And I specifically remember this moment because the next day I have a friend whose name is, we called him Turk.
His name is Shannon Siegel.
Shannon, we were sitting at lunch and he says, oh, I saw Devereaux packed out this morning, right?
They leave in the morning.
He goes, he packed out this morning.
I said, yeah, yeah.
He said, never see that?
He said, bet you'll never see that guy again.
And I go, you know, I disagree.
I said, I'll bet you.
I said, I think that when I leave these gates, I'm going to see him again.
I said, I think that he's a better person than you think he is.
Because he hated it.
He just thought he was a scumbag.
Everybody thought he was a scumbag.
