We know the mediation is coming in like two weeks.
And Pete's like, we only have โ the only thing we can do at this point because he's like they're going to come up with an agreement.
Because Warner Brothers, by the way, because of my motion โ
Warner Brothers is also arguing we don't even know if Devereaux is a true owner of this story.
There's this guy, Matt Cox, that says he's going to โ that he's actually the true owner of it because they have a null and void contract because Devereaux is committing fraud.
And it sounds to me like maybe he did commit fraud.
Like they're leaning into it like, hey, your case isn't that great.
They're also trying to depose me in prison, federal prison.
So โ
So here's what happens is that Pete says, look, we only have one choice at this point.
I'm like, okay.
And he said, well, I'm like, what's that?
He said, at this point, what we had held back the whole time was that a good portion of the manuscript is fabricated.
And of course, what I also said was that it's more than a good portion because really,
Devoroli's character is partially fabricated because I made him a lot more likable than he actually was.
So we're saying that basically the book, the book that they're saying is that Devoroli and Reback are saying is a true story.
We're saying is a fabrication.
So now if you've got a, they didn't, one fabricated story didn't destroy the credibility of your true story.
Your true story is actually fabricated too.
It destroys their fucking case.
