But they end up finding out that he's been shipping Chinese ammunition and lying about it.

And the way I've always felt is that he โ and this is what happened.
He knew he shouldn't be shipping Chinese ammunition.
Because of Tiananmen Square, there's an embargo on Chinese munitions.
But he knew it was from China and he was shipping it anyway.
And in my opinion, it was โ he was within his rights to do that.
And I think legally he was too.
But what happened was he lied about it.
And by lying about it and hiding it from the government, he kind of created a conspiracy to defraud the United States government.
He did defraud them out of โ I want to say it was โ they calculated it at $142,000, which Devereaux paid immediately.
But he got indicted, and he pleads guilty.
David Packhouse also pleads guilty, and so does another guy, Alex Podrovsky.
They all plead guilty.
Podrovsky and David Packhouse agree to work with the government and explain it.
They go in.
They just tell, this is what happened.
We didn't really do anything wrong.
They don't really know that they're in trouble.
They do, but it's not that big of a deal.
