I know he wants to coach.
He's a hell of a coach.
And he's anxious to get going.
Coaches, by definition, aren't real patient people.
So I understand, you know, what he wants and why he wants it.
And at the same time, I work for the Vegas Golden Knights.
So my responsibilities are first and foremost to the organization.
And that's, you know, that's as much as I'm going to say on it in addition to what I said a week ago.
Well, I think first and foremost, we treat our players fantastic.
We give them everything they need to win, everything they need to be the best version of themselves that they can be.
I think our players really appreciate being on a team that's trying to win.
That's not always the case across the league in terms of how teams are run, so I think there's a lot of value in that.
And the reality of running an NHL team in a salary cap world, you guys were talking about the salary cap before I came on,
You know, particularly when we went through the flat cap where your RFAs, if they've continued to develop, are going to need raises on their next deals and the pie was no bigger.
You had to make that work however you needed to make it work.
So, you know, that's...
We're committed to winning, but we treat our players really, really well.
I think you could ask any guy in our dressing room if they're proud to play in Vegas, if they feel the organization does well by them and their families.
I feel very comfortable and confident that we do that.
And I think, as I said already, guys want to win.
