And you're like, oh my God, like this is legitimately a series altering sequence, right?
Because Lakers look like they're in control all night.
Now, all of a sudden they could be looking at 2-1 with KD coming back in game four.
This could be a very different series.
And it was funny because when it was a two-point game, I was watching the game with my wife.
And my wife, she played basketball in college as well.
She goes, this game is going to come down to who makes fewer mistakes.
And I totally agreed with her at the time because it just kind of felt like an execution game.
Neither team really had anything super established.
It was going to come down to who made fewer mistakes.
And down the stretch in the second half, the Lakers did make a lot of mistakes en route to the Rockets taking that six-point lead late.
But then after that, to my wife's point,
The Rockets made three absolutely catastrophic errors down the stretch.
LeBron misses a pull-up three on the left wing.
The Rockets secure the rebound, and Jabari Smith, straight up, against no ball pressure, just throws the ball up in the air in the vicinity of Marcus Smart.
Marcus Smart gets a steal.
Just an absolutely boneheaded turnover that made absolutely no sense.
At which point, Marcus goes down and shoots a three, and Jason Tate fouls him on the three, inexplicably.
So there's two...
After he makes all three free throws, Reed Shepard on the ensuing possession is trying to bring the ball up the floor and doesn't protect it properly.
