yeah um i got involved when i was a child my mom enrolled me as a little when i was in fifth grade um i got into some some serious trouble in school for the first time ever and right before yeah right before she enrolled me and as a single mother my mom needed some extra support and helping to usher me into adulthood and so she reached out to big brothers big sisters

I got matched a few months later with my big Mike, and we were matched from 10 all the way until I was 18.

At 18, I graduated from the program, but our relationship only got stronger from there.

We still hang out very often.

We actually just attended the AFC conference game together.

Really?

No kidding.

That's really cool.

Awesome and also terrible, but yeah.

Yeah, you know, you got to take the good with the bad sometimes.

Yeah, yeah.

This was, Mike was really involved when we first got matched and he just kept that consistency throughout our entire partnership.

It is, we asked that you hang out with your little at least twice a month.

And so Mike and I would hang out like every other weekend, unless he has something come up in which case, you know, we, we dealt with those conflicts then.

Um,

And he was just a person that I could lean on, talk to anytime you're going through something, have something exciting to share or just need to get away from the family, get out of the house.

You know, that's what your big is there for.
