And I reached out to Rick Collins, who's a friend of both of us. And I said, hey, Rick, like, and he didn't know me from that. I mean, I was a nobody.

I was at that time, my wife and I owned a residential real estate team still in Southern California. And we were modestly successful. But, you know, I had written a white paper because I'd known so much about testosterone and I sent it to him in an email and the guy, you know, being Rick, he's such an amazing guy. He didn't know me and didn't have to, but he responded right away.

And I asked him, I said, what would happen if somebody like me, who's not a non-medically licensed person. would write a book on therapeutic testosterone. What would be the risks? And so he emailed me back. And first off, he said, hey, your white paper, because I had a position paper, it was like six or seven pages, is really good. This is impressive. He says, but I got to be honest with you.

There's a chance that you could get in trouble if a senator decided to go after you and looked into you and found out that you were using, you know, underground testosterone or whatever, then, you know, it could be a case against you. So he kind of scared me, but it was just typical legal talk.

At the same time, I sent the same white paper to Nelson Virgil, who is the author of Testosterone, A Man's Guide. And then Rick, not Rick, but Bill Llewellyn, the guy that wrote the Anabolic Steroid Handbooks. Never heard from Bill until years later, but about four months later – and by the way, I shut it down as soon as Rick said what he said.
