Nelson Vergel sent an email to me, and he was actually in his native country of Venezuela, and it was the middle of the night. And he said, I don't know who you are, but your paper is amazing. I want to talk to you. You need to put this book into the world. And I still, I mean, I always tell the story because I remember where I was with my wife. It was like the changing moment of my life.

And I'm like, well, just when we get home, I'll call him and, you know, we'll talk to him.

And I had some doctors that coached me, you know, and gave me a lot of obviously insight in, you know, certain things about, you know, lab ranges and stuff like that. And it just made the book much more scientific and medical and clinically. But it did really, really well. And, you know, to fast forward a very long story from there, I started making rounds at like medical conferences.

I started eventually getting like becoming a guest lecturer, a guest presenter. And then I wrote a bunch of other books, dude. And then, you know, the internet blew up, I think, in like 2017, 2018. I started my podcast. I left this off. I did launch a website in 2014 called TRT Nation. Not TRT Nation. TRT Revolution. I'm thinking of T Nation, but TRT Revolution.

Eventually, we changed the domain to TOT because it was TRT, testosterone replacement therapy, to testosterone optimization therapy. And very shortly, within two years, the website was getting like 17,000 to 19,000 people visiting a month. It was like the number one site online for testosterone information. And so I decided when that was happening to also launch a podcast.

And that was, again, like, I want to say it launched in early 2015 or late 2014. I can't remember. I'm sure I could go back on my website and find out. But it was a good 10-year run. And eventually I went to Peru in 2019, right before COVID. And I had a transformational experience. I didn't do plant medicine or anything, even though I've done that a lot of times in my life. I didn't do that.

I just had this amazing experience with my wife and two other people, another couple that went with us from our real estate team. And I just decided, bro, on the way back that I was going to change the brand from TOT Revolution to J-Camp. Because I was like, at that point, I'm like, you know what? I'm so much more than just this testosterone guy.

There's way more about me and I don't want to be pigeonholed into testosterone. And a lot of people that were in my circles, some of the people that work for me technologically were like, dude, you're insane. You've got this huge brand that you're building. You're the TRT guy. Everybody knows you for that. You can't do that. You're going to jump the shark.
