Like, what are you fucking talking about?
Like that was like, that was like me and my dumb ass concern.
Right.
But after she'd been training for about a year, after she'd been training for about a year, she was like, I had no idea how much anxiety she
not being able to fight i carried in the back of my head until it went away and i noticed this huge sense of relief and went where the did that come from and then you have to think about it and go oh if i feel relief now i must have been concerned before because i feel total relief and freedom now and it's like she would have passed a polygraph saying she was not concerned about self-defense
But once it went away, she was like, oh, shit, the veil got lifted.
She's like, now she knows violence and the propensity for violence in humankind and knows how to navigate it and is not stressed or scared inappropriately about it.
But before she could fight, she was utterly self-deprecating.
It's like a Nietzsche, like happiness is resistance overcome.
A sense of power and capability increasing.
That's what happiness is.
And if you look at like third world countries that have like, you know, aboriginal cultures and we look at it like, oof, that's rough.
There's no air conditioning.
They gotta get up every morning.
Right.
They got to go cut, chop wood, carry water, you know, fix their shelter.
Their happiness index, so much higher than ours.
So much higher.
I used to play that with one of my dogs in the kids' classes.
I'd put my dog out with one of those yoga balls, and my dog would just – you could play volleyball.
