You still carry a bit of guilt and shame about it?

Yeah, there's always, like, when some people say it proudly,

oh, this is my mate Jay.

But he's a good guy, you know, which is fair.

And then every now and then you get the judge look, like, oh, and then, oh, hey, nice to meet you, kind of thing.

yeah but you know that's a that's a snapshot you know there's a lot there's a lot in between which i'm happy with yeah um but i did it so you know gotta live with the consequences of your actions that's right yeah accountability um what about future how old are you now what's your age well they call me um on my birth certificate they said i'm 45 but you freeze in prison so i'm 39.

What happens on your birthday in jail?

Um... Well, I can't say that, but... It's a podcast.

Yeah.

I mean, a few things.

You can go to sleep.

You can... A couple of birthdays.

I had my 21st in prison, and all the guys, they actually bought some things from their canteen, and then they all put it all in together.

We had a wee party, you know, chocolate biscuits and chips and...

Stuff like that.

May have been some homebrew, can't remember.

I've had a Vegemite one, Minties, Raro, a yeast one, oranges, ferments.
