It's all dependent on what comes back, but I don't see them hanging on to Anthony Simons and being a part of their future.
I think the trade for Drew Holiday to Portland to get this guy was just about moving on from the Holiday contract, and now it's going to be moving on from Anthony Simons' contract.
Really?
to I guess say the exact same thing Scotto said on yesterday's podcast what the Celtics do here or don't do leading into the deadline is all sort of dependent on how they feel about Jason Tatum may or may or not returning right I think he's right there what do they know how confident are they he comes back how he's going to look or if that even happens that's going to determine sort of where which direction they take here in terms of trying to bolster the roster because they're like whoa East is wide open and we're adding Tatum Jesus
maybe Simon stays or is it the opposite?
And it's like, all right, clean up the books a little bit more, avoid any sort of repeater tax down the line, do that.
And, and then obviously trade somebody like Simon's who is, you know, can still obviously shoot the rock.
That's a great three point shooter still.
And he's one of these guys that can easily hit like eight or nine threes in a game.
catches fire so yeah we'll see I think it is dependent on what they know and how they feel about Tatum you can definitely see them using Simons in some kind of a package to get a more established center than Keita and Garza those guys have been pretty solid but maybe they would take their chances like I mean maybe even Dallas makes sense for some while trying to get their hands on Gafford we shall see yeah
And I'm Hari Kundabolu.
