Because you in your head had told yourself, after three years, I'm going to go and do something else.

Yeah, Dixie was, because Dixie read those letters, my lovely wife, and she was just jealous that I was that sure of myself at that age making that decision.

She just said she would have absolutely battled with it.

But I was just like, I literally knew one person up there.

I started on $16,400.

And then on purpose, I never worked it out because they had me, like I said in that letter, I was working promotions as well.

And so I'd arrive at 9am and then be leaving because it was, I don't think you could record when I first started.

Because quite often people that do late night radio shows will record the last two hours or something like that.

And I don't think we could do that.

So I'd be there from like 9am till midnight.

And then go all again.

And then fill it up again.

So that was five days a week.

And then I was somewhere in the mix over the weekend.

I had to do a weekend shift as well.

And if I was to work it out, I would have been on like a dollar fucking 17 hour or something like that.

But it wasn't what it was about.

You've got to want it and that's the thing, like when you're turning up and you're really passionate about it, it doesn't, like,

I mean, obviously money helps, but it's not the be all and the end all.
