Every step undertaken to find it is going away from it.
It is the ultimate goal in every human being to know it, to be it.
The inquiry to come to know our real nature needs a certain maturity in order to come to this question.
By maturity I mean that you know in a certain way already what you are not.
This knowing what you are not brings you to the full feeling of what you are.
The moment you know what you are not, you are free from all directions.
And you are brought back to the starting point, which means, who am I?
In this moment, there's no more reference to anything, anything known.
It is only in this state of not knowing, in this openness of not knowing,
waiting for the eventual known.
Then the waiting becomes free from what it is waiting for.
But one must make a distinction between consciousness or life and its expressions.
Its expressions which appear in space and time are objects.
As long as you have not understood life or consciousness, these expressions are still recognized as objects.
But once you understand life,
that you are that.
You are the life.
And these objects are no longer considered as objects.
And they have their own ground in consciousness.
That is a very important moment.
