Yeah, absolutely.
And it's just, you know, we call it Fabric Cool Phase 1 for a reason, right?
You don't typically do that unless there's going to be a Phase 2 and a Phase 3 and multiple sequels, right?
Spinoffs.
So I think in Phase 1, we're focused on
You know, that one on-prem object store with storage grid, KWS, those secondary and sort of backup use cases.
And there's also like a third sort of archive use case that you can use in certain cases to archive off data that you're really not going to be using anymore at all.
And certainly what we showed up at Insight was the ability to tear data out of the active file system.
And that's something that we still are working towards, right?
So I won't comment on future releases per se, but obviously we want to be able to tear off cold data even within the active file system.
And we have multiple hyperscaler partners out there, right?
So I'll be really sensitive about mentioning them because it's different relationships, right?
Obviously, we work great with AWS.
We're happy to launch with AWS, but I think you can expect to see us tearing out to many more hyperscales and many more object stores in the future.
And doing that across all workloads, right, to SANS and NAS, expanding out to more and more platforms that we supported on.
And it really is the first phase, really, the first step of this journey of allowing our customers to basically have the right height at the right price at the right place, right?
If your data is incredibly hot, going incredibly fast, we want it to be on your
AFF on SSDs, you know, rocketing performance directly to servers.
If it's cold as dirt and not being touched anymore, we want you to be able to move it out to whatever object store you want on the cheapest capacity drives you want and put it into, you know, carbonite cold freeze basically, right?
Just sit there and do nothing.
