Cecil Cooper used to always tell me in batting practice, it's not how you start your swing, it's how you finish it.
It just means it's effortless.
You can stand there forever.
You kind of look like a statue, right?
You want to get it up above your head.
Basically, you're hitting it and throwing it in the air.
So you just got to have timing to do all that.
And what's the pitcher's job?
Pete Walker talks about that all the time is –
It's like holding on base runners.
Like you want to do little different things to just kind of disrupt what they're trying to do timing wise.
