I didn't that night and I never have since.
I never got to look at him because he was locked away and that wasn't my responsibility.
So I flipped on the TV.
I did what any 16 year old would do first.
I snooped around his house a little bit.
Checked out what he had, then grabbed some food, laid down on the couch.
I was a big Saturday Night Live fan.
And I think those are back in the Eddie Murphy days.
So I probably watched Saturday Night Live and just quickly fell sound asleep.
Good nap on the couch until I heard the door open.
And he said, thank you so much.
This was amazing.
And he paid me and I got in my car and I drove home.
And driving home, I go, this wasn't that bad.
Maybe I'll do more babysitting.
It was easy money.
I just ate pizza, watched TV.
Rifled through his drawers and then went home.
I pull onto my street and at the end of my driveway, there's like a crazy person and it's my mom.
She's got her fists clenched and she's just freaking out.
