So, you know, I know you mentioned it before, but one of my favorites.
favorite scenes in the whole film is a conversation between Jerome Bettis and Bill Cowher sitting on the banks of the Allegheny talking about football talking about western Pennsylvania and talking about what it means to people you know we see Joey Porter and James Harrison and Chris Hoke but we see them in the film because they're at a high school football game on Friday night because that's not uncommon in Pittsburgh if you go to a game on a Friday night in Pittsburgh you might
see a Steeler player or a former Steeler player, because those folks came here and they decided to stay here and raise a family here.
And now they're watching the next generation.
They're watching their kids on the field, you know, playing in games.
So we had those guys incorporated, you know, it's, so it's, it's more of a natural sort of organic way to include some of these prominent figures in Steelers history into this film.
You're 100% right.
I'm a product of this region as well.
I grew up here, which sort of
created this passion, this love for sports.
And, you know, when I was a kid, I also, you know, had an affinity for writing and for telling stories.
And so I went to Penn State and I was getting ready to graduate.
And like most kids, I had no idea what the heck I wanted to do with my life.
But I knew I loved sports.
I knew I loved writing and I knew I loved storytelling.
So I wrote Steve Sable a letter when I was in college, and I said, I love what you do.
I would love a chance to learn from you guys.
And I got a call a few months later, and they asked me to come in for an interview.
So I came in for an interview, and they hired me as a seasonal production assistant.
And then halfway through that first year, they hired me as a full-time producer.
