I've called all sorts of levels of footy, college rugby, provincial rugby, Black Ferns, All Blacks 15, Maori All Blacks, Japan League 1 as well.

There's been some...

Yeah, there's been some interesting games of cool.

I remember calling a Japan League one game a few years back with Willie and Willie Lossa and he was next to me and this lightning strike came over the ground.

And so all the players obviously had to leave.

But we didn't cut for a commercial break.

So I'm sitting there and I'm thinking, what are we going to talk about?

So we're going through all our notes and stuff and then obviously Willie's having a good yarn.

And then I think I just remember just going –

Willie, just tell us about your time in Japan.

How was that playing?

It filled the space for 10 or 15 minutes before the players came back on.

When I look at the different games I've been able to call, it's been a really cool thing with all of the variety as well.

Women's World Cup and

So Māori All Blacks, the game against Ireland and Hamilton a few years back was pretty cool as well.

And Bundy Arkee came back and scored that try.

So yeah, there's been some pretty special moments for sure.

Is it hybrid?

Yeah, so like I would never be a co-commentator or sideline unless I absolutely needed to jump in at a pinch last minute.

So yeah, obviously your co-commentator is a former player and indeed your third voice.
