With telly, you do have to have that ability to let the pictures tell the story.

And the more you do, I think, mate, the more you get the hang of that, when to let it breathe.

And especially when the referees are talking, just let them explain it.

You'll have an expert next to you or on the sideline, but the best person to explain it to the viewer is whoever's out in the middle with the whistle, right?

So that's what we try and do, give them the space.

And obviously when Ted was there, there was Sir Brian Lahore as well.

So I think there's real merit in having someone with that experience who's coached the All Blacks.

I think he's got a list of 60 players.

So yeah, I think that first squad of the year is going to be really interesting to see what direction

Dave wants to take that team in I know in his first presser he said he'll pick on form that not every spot's guaranteed but gee like there's been a few players this year that have I guess have put their hand up and given him food for thought some areas some positions that are we've got a real log jam obviously got a lot of midfielders leaving this year
