He is a college pitcher, but the stuff has picked up, and I suppose if you're picked for the 71st overall pick, you probably should be a big leaguer, but I think he's going to be a big leaguer sooner than people ever thought that he would be.

So the Royals do have pitching if they want to go out and move

you know, not just Chris Bubich, but Michael Walker or Seth Lugan or potentially both, or if he comes back and looks healthy, Cole Reagans.

Like, I just think there needs to be, and I wrote this last week, sir, and I think there needs to be some kind of a reset.

It doesn't need to be a wholehearted rebuild because you still have Bobby Witt, who, again, still leads Major League Baseball and wins above replacement.

and you've still got Michael Garcia here for the long term.

Well, settle down about that.

You don't think Garcia is going to figure it out?

Aggressiveness is great when it's warranted.

And I don't know that this lineup warrants it.

You know, ultimately, to me, that goes back on the manager.

And here's why that goes on the manager.

You need to know what your team is and isn't.

And I don't just mean in the sense, Seren, of fast or slow.

I mean in the sense of can we score or do we struggle with that?

And, man, if you're struggling to score runs –

there needs to be an emphasis on the value of every out.

Every out is precious.
