Three or four years later, he was shown the door.
And so, you know, there are pitfalls, certainly.
Like, ultimately, it is about getting this thing moving in the right direction.
But they talk all the time about alignment.
I do believe that.
There's a ton of respect between Rian Johnson and the twins.
They played together.
Ryan and Manny never played together.
They missed by a year here in Vancouver, but they've been working together when Manny was an assistant with the Canucks and when Ryan hired him down in Abbotsford.
So, you know, the bonds are strong here.
And I do think there is some value in all of that.
But ultimately, other organizations around the league are so far ahead of the Vancouver Canucks with the on ice product that they've got to play catch up here.
And I think it's going to be interesting.
Manny Malhotra is not going to get judged on wins and losses for a couple of seasons.
It is about advancing the program.
It's about restoring the culture and the pride and that logo and all those types of things.
And I do think a lot of that's within their control, but at some point people are going to have a hunger here to get competitive again.
And we shall see what I don't one question I've, and I haven't had a chance to ask Daniel or Henrik about it since they took over, but I,
