So if you change, you know, so annealing, I've never seen, I'm just drawing, just thinking back on the memory banks here.
I don't think I've ever seen anybody fail a cartridge case because the shoulder was too soft.

But you definitely, like down on the extractor groove, don't touch that thing.
Don't try to anneal there.
It causes you all kinds of grief.

A buddy of mine's got one of the ugly annealers, and he let me borrow it for some stuff that I was working on.
You know, I set it up, read the directions, watched a couple of YouTube videos, and like, you know what?
It's a good rig.
If I shot more, I'd have one.
Yeah, I mean, good rig.
It leaves a nice visible signature that it's been annealed.
I wish I had some firsthand experience with this, but I don't.
With the annealing process itself, I don't have any firsthand experience other than running my buddy's ugly annealer.
