So now I'm going to show you a few slides on something that I ran across.
I haven't been able to get any traction, getting people to look at it.
But there's a custom high end custom 1911 gun maker here.
in the Northwest corner of Vermont that has run into this.
And he, he mentioned it.
I happen to be, my wife had been doing work for him.
He, you know, we, I went in and introduced myself and talked and talked to him a little bit.
And he mentioned this particular problem.
And then he, he dug up some samples for me and I, I started kind of,
turn on the crank a little bit, see if I could figure out what was going on.
Okay.
So, um, the first thing that happened was there, there was the, the case ruptured and basically the bottom of the bottom of the barrel is fairly unsupported and it, it vented out the bottom of the cartridge case and cause an uncommanded mag dump on the ground.
Okay.
So the evidence of exceptionally high pressure is definitely there.
The primer pocket diameter is 0.227, and it should have been 0.210.
