Pumps, you grew up and a lot of your adult life around a lot of white people who have really homophobic, horrific views about gay people.
Does showing them something like this and seeing how ugly that is, does that change it?
Or is it just, no, they're going to go to hell and that's just, you know.
But the one they lean into, if they didn't have a baby, then they wouldn't have been confronted like that.
And there's always a blame to, well, I mean, you know, a lot of people, you know, we as Christians just, you know, we think marriage is between a man and a woman.
That baby doesn't have a mom.
And that guy was just trying to, you know, point out to them and show an example that this baby doesn't have a mom.
I can see that group piling on to this other narrative that two men shouldn't have children.
A baby and how he when he asked those questions, because you're talking about schools and institutionalized homophobia where they teach marriages between a man and a woman.
And I mean, it's a big, big, huge part.
I'm just going to say those two dads, in my opinion, are a million times better fathers than all of the white men.
Christian conservative parents that I encountered raising my kids in Oklahoma city.
Not Christian light people, but mega church, white Christian people.
Those two dads are going to give that baby a much better childhood without the indoctrination, the hate, the permission structure to be an asshole than any of the, you know, those, all those crazy Christian schools in Oklahoma.
Josh would always say, I don't want my kids hanging out with those kids.
When our youngest son would play these Christian schools, and I would walk into these Christian schools, and I knew the parents had signed all of these homophobic...
