This time round, I honestly, in hindsight, should have put way more planning into it because whilst I've been able to breastfeed, it has been extremely...
So not only are my breasts still healing, all of those nerves haven't quite joined up yet or healed.
So I can be, you know how usually, I'm not sure if both of you breastfed, but like when you breastfeed, after a couple of minutes, you get that letdown feeling, you know, okay, my milk's in and the baby's getting the milk.
It can happen sometimes like 15 minutes into a feed.
It can happen just randomly like sitting here.
And I think there's just a lot of mixed messages going on from my brain to my boobs because there was so much tissue taken out.
Like I had an extreme amount of tissue taken out when I had my procedure done.
He was the surgeon said to me we had to take a lot out because there was just so much tissue.
So yeah, it's definitely been really tricky.
I've had to work with a lactation consultant.
I had to mix feed in the beginning because it was so painful and yeah, it was just really irregular.
But now it's kind of evened out and he's exclusively breastfed, but it is still extremely painful.
Like when my letdown happens, it's like the nerves are just, they don't know what they're doing.
I'm only just now not crying when I see it.
