Sometimes you start rebuking a temptation for alcohol, but that's just your fleshly desire.

Does that make sense?

No, and that's one thing the Pharisee is void of is joy.

You'll notice that there is no joy of the Lord inside of the Pharisee unless they're telling somebody they're going to hell.

That's the only time you really see them get happy.

And the last time we saw the Pharisee in full motion, I think, was during the witch trials.

And they killed thousands upon thousands of innocent women, children, and a few men, you know, and they used the Bible verse, thou shalt not suffer a witch to live.

But would Jesus go around killing women?

Loads of women?

No.

In the New Testament, when he was talking about that, witches then were full-on operating demons at the time, sacrificing children.

You can see why God's done a wipeout.

But to kill thousands of innocent women and children, and like you say, the tests, nobody could pass those tests anyway, same as the Pharisee.

When he was with Jesus, Jesus was never going to pass their tests because he's not in the same doctrine that they're teaching.

So he was set up to fail.

people in the witch trials were set up to fail.

Oh, let's hold you underwater for 30 minutes.

If you survive, you're a witch.

If you die, sorry, you were a human.

So it's already unfair.
