Chapter 1: What is the Pharisee spirit and how does it affect believers?
Luke, so often people email us and they have this story. They're out in the woods and they're looking in the bushes and they go, what's that? And when you are pouring your dog food in your dog's bowl, that's the last thing you want to say. What is that? What is this stuff coming out of this bag?
You know, I don't think a lot of us think about maybe what we feed our dogs. And that's why we partnered with Rough Greens. Most of us would love to have our dogs live as long as possible. I just lost my dog in December. And I would have loved more time with Carl. And one of the things you can do to get more time with your dog is to feed them better food.
Dog owners don't usually realize that live nutrients that their dog needs to thrive are missing from the food you just talked about. What is that, right? That's where Rough Greens comes in. It's America's number one dog supplement that you sprinkle on top of their food.
It's packed with prebiotics, enzymes, omega oils, and 20 live vitamins and minerals to support digestion, energy, and overall health from the inside out. It's all natural, made in the USA, and thousands of dogs are feeling younger, more energetic, and healthier than they have in years. That's why we love it. I'm giving it to our two dogs. I've got older dogs, Nate, as I said, and so...
Chapter 2: How does the Pharisee spirit differ from the Jezebel spirit?
Since they've been getting Rough Greens with their food, I've noticed they have more energy. Their joints hurt less. They're older. I mean, they were talking 12 and 13 years old. And Rough Greens really made a difference in their energy levels and the pep in their steps. So if you want to do what we did, you can get a free Jumpstart trial bag for your dog today. Being in the occult, you get attacked all the time. You know, that's normal. Everything's very competitive.
Chapter 4: How can Christians identify and combat the Pharisee spirit?
There's a lot of gossiping, a lot of tearing each other down. That's why everyone's doing protection spells all the time because everyone's coming after them. That was like my normal life for years. So when I came into Christianity, I felt like, oh, do you know what? I can finally breathe. There's no nasties in Christianity. Everyone's nice.
For a couple of weeks.
I could not have been more wrong.
The history of our earth is so different from what we can imagine. The Smithsonian, if they found out about a large skeleton somewhere, was to go get it. I'm going to assume at least one person is right, because if one person's right, it busts the paradigm. It all goes back to the fallen cherub. And the problem with the modern-day church, they have a very truncated view of the supernatural.
This backdrop that's just pregnant with all kinds of meaning associated with this Mount Hermon event.
Welcome to the glory region.
And this guy defects from the kingdom. That's a big deal.
Jess Phoenix, you were on episode 385. Welcome back to Blurry Creatures.

Chapter 5: Why do new believers often face judgment from established Christians?
I felt like we just scratched the surface the first time you came on the podcast. Obviously, when you come out of New Age, you come out of witchcraft, you come out of these things, you get introduced into the wonderful world of the kingdom of heaven. But... It doesn't stop there.
There's a whole campaign, it seems, in the spirit world to take down people who have come to faith and are excited and have a lot of energy and want to be welcomed in to the new family. And then you quickly find out you're a target of this sort of religious spirit, Pharisee spirit, all these things. So welcome back.
I would love to talk about the Pharisee spirit because you've posted some stuff online lately that really kind of made me go oh you know we deal with that a little bit yeah over here like let's talk about that so welcome back to blurry creatures Is your water turned on? How are you doing over there in the UK?
Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Don't worry about that. Okay. I'm no longer smelly.
Yeah.
That's all right. We talk about the smelly creatures out there.

Chapter 6: What is the difference between conviction and condemnation?
So we're fine with if you're a little smelly. Yeah, man. They got them down in Florida.
The old skunk ape.
Yeah. Bigfoot doesn't shower.
His water's never been on. I know. Yeah.
He doesn't care. I'd love to get into it, get an update real quick, and then kind of launch into maybe some more specific things about some of these.
spirits by name that you've you've dealt with and help our listeners kind of put some yeah so you know basically when i came out of witchcraft um being in the occult you get attacked all the time you know that's normal everything's very competitive there's a lot of gossiping a lot of tearing each other down that's why everyone's doing protection spells all the time because everyone's coming after them um so yeah that that was like my normal life for years
So when I came into Christianity, I felt like, oh, do you know what? I can finally breathe. There's no nasties in Christianity. Everyone's nice.
For a couple of weeks.
Yeah. Honestly, I could not have been. It threw me off because, you know, when you think about Christ, right.

Chapter 7: How does the spirit of accusation manifest in the church?
When I was a witch. I'd have Christians in my face, in my comments, and they'd be saying, oh, I pray that you find Jesus. If you have any questions, come and speak to me. And I'm like, oh, they're nice. Once you do find Jesus, you're not holy enough, and it's a barrage.
Like, whoa, I don't know where the change happens, where it goes from I'm praying for you to see the light to, oh, you've seen the light, but you're not good enough. Why are you here?
But you don't see it. You don't see it enough.
I don't know what happens. Yeah. I don't know what happens in that little bit between, you know, there and there. But I always say if I was still a witch online now, I'd have Christians praying for me, not trying to insult me and accuse me. They'd be praying that I find Jesus and trying to get me over to the side of Jesus.
So when my concern at the moment is because obviously my, my whole thing with my page was that I wanted to bring people from the occult to Jesus. Then they come to Jesus and they get absolutely walloped with what I have recently discovered to be the Pharisee spirit. So they get hit with the Pharisee spirit and they think, well,
Whoa, no, I'm going back to the occult where, you know, I can be myself without that. Okay. So I had a lot of that coming into my inbox.

Chapter 8: What role does love play in overcoming the Pharisee spirit?
People were saying like, Jess, I'm going to church and people are saying stuff because I'm wearing black clothes. And I'm like, uh, you know, and then I got it. So as my page got a bit bigger, I started getting the accusation of, oh, no, she's not a real Christian. She's still a witch.
Yeah.
Okay, all right. Okay, let's have a little look at this then. And it turned out to be because my hair was dark, my clothes were dark, and I came from the occult. Surely I can't be trusted, right? So that threw me because, like I said, I've been in the occult. I've dealt with a lot of demons. I've dealt with a lot of things spiritually.
I didn't know about the Pharisees because I never read the Bible. I just found Jesus, and then I went and followed him. So when I came up against my first Pharisee, I was shocked. I thought, oh, dear. Oh dear, this means God doesn't want me. Stop talking about me. You're not good enough to talk about me. Be quiet.
And that threw me because I thought, well, when I met Jesus, Jesus was telling me and pushing me to expose witchcraft. So why am I then coming up against someone who follows Jesus, who's been in church, who's been a Christian a lot longer than I have, who knows the Bible probably back to front, telling me, you're still a witch, you shouldn't be speaking online, go back to where you came from.
So for me, I thought, well, they know Jesus more than I do. They must be right. That must be God speaking through them to tell me to be quiet and stop talking about him. But I know the Holy Spirit. I encountered the Holy Spirit first. So... It didn't feel like him talking. Didn't feel like the Holy Spirit saying that to me.
And when I matched it back to the character of Jesus, that's not something Jesus Christ would say. Right. So I sat there for a long time. I started questioning myself. I was looking at the way that I look. I can't change my eye color. I'm Spanish. I can change my hair color, but it won't suit my eyebrows. So I'd rather not. There's not much I can do.
I prefer wearing black because I gained a few pounds after having two kids in two years. So I started thinking, what is it about me that is giving off witch vibes? And I couldn't find anything. I started asking bigger content creators, am I coming across as a witch to you? And they were like, no, you talk about Jesus all the time. I was like, thank you.
I even went to a church and asked them, can you look at my page and tell me if I'm giving you witch vibes? And they were like, no. So I'm still left there confused because this Pharisee spirit was like barraging me. You're a witch, you're a witch, you know, literally going on a campaign to tell other people I'm a witch and relentlessly as well. So I was thinking, hold on a second.
