He never defended himself against a Pharisee.
He let them talk and he just stayed quiet and he observed everything.
He wanted to see what they were doing, how they were trying to monitor him.
They twisted his words.
They love that.
They twist your words.
So as hard as it is, the enemy right now, more than anything, wants us to get out of character.
He wants us to say, see, even you're not a real follower of Jesus.
Therefore, Jesus isn't who he says he is.
Right back to the beginning.
And also...
If we have questions online saying this person's not really saved, this person's not really redeemed, we're not even targeting that person.
You're questioning Jesus.
It's blasphemy of the Holy Spirit.
The whole point of Jesus is that you are made anew.
So if you're saying that person's not made anew based on nothing, then you are blaspheming the Holy Spirit.
Again, clever.
That's how you know it's a Pharisee.
