But the way the game played out, the fact that Canada played the near-perfect game, they had the upset going for 58 minutes.

had to pull their goaltender, Hillary Knight, with that unbelievable play.

to tie it up and then to see our homegrown talent, Taylor Heisey, make the great stretch pass, trying to catch Canada on a change in overtime to set up the game-winning goal.

I thought it just made for a magical, magical viewing, and I think it made it a little bit more, I think, special in terms of the juice that it had.

Really gutsy pass.

And back to Hillary Knight.

I've had the pleasure of watching her for a long time as a fan of the game and certainly a fan of hers.

She's all class.

And, yeah, really, I think, to your point, poetic that she gets the biggest goal of all in that tournament.

Without that goal, they end up with silver.

And so...

Really hard play to make, kind of in that spot where we see Julie Erickson-Eck for the wild, constantly right in front of the blue paint in traffic.

Trying to maneuver to get a deflection like that is not easy to do.

And she's just been an unbelievable talent and just such a great leader on and off the ice for the red, white, and blue.

Now to the winning goal, yeah, Taylor Heisey is a player that –

You know, she scores big goals, but I think she's developed into a player that's become a real playmaker, whether it's with the Frost or obviously with Team USA.

And that play in particular is all about reading the situation.

She's at the tail end of her shift.

She gets the puck behind the net in a three-on-three situation and sees the candidates trying to get fresh troops on the ice.
