Like I, I don't think that they're going to put any of the players in a dangerous situation with the facility.

Yes, it is shorter, but the guys will be able to adjust to that.

I think us as media members sometimes do like to make a large hoopla out of things.

It is weird.

The thing that's bothersome is, like Kirsten said earlier, they had so much time to avoid this.

It shouldn't even be a talking point because there should be no reason that the facility is not ready and is not –

up to code and is not of the measurements that you were playing hockey on like that's just seems lazy to me in a lot of essence now i get there's a lot probably a lot more that goes into building a rink than i'm aware of but nonetheless you hate to see it but i think the players themselves are going to be just fine um again the excitement is going to surpass any concerns i've even talked to some of uh the minnesota frost players who are going over and representing too

And likewise, they kind of giggled.

They're like, well, nobody seems to care about us going and playing a week early.

And if the men weren't over there, nobody would even be talking about the facility issues anyway.

So they're not entirely wrong there, but no, no concerns from them either.

That being said, Kirsten, Adam C wants to know if the Buttes were going to try the Olympics, the winter Olympics specifically, what are we competing in?

It's going to be curling, skiing, figure skating, whatever.

Outside of hockey, what would be the go-to, do you think?

yeah you can't be on skates i can tell you that like that would you will they would probably kick you out they'd be like this is a problem it's not it's not great and i have flat feet i've seen i've seen the struggles um curl have you curled have you done the curling thing before there's no but i want to i just know it's really hard i did it i've done it

two or three times now because we've had like it was all the rage for holiday company parties for a minute there right so I know we went out there for once and then I've done it with a group of friends a second time and at two different facilities even it's fun like it's it is it's there's more that goes into it than you expect right like it is much more difficult than you assume but I always laugh I'm like yeah I can do it when I'm drinking I probably could compete the Olympics for it it's fine like liquid courage yeah

It totally is.

I don't think I slipped, but you need to have the proper shoes, I would think, as well.

I definitely don't have those.
