You focus on the offense when it's not going well.
Sometimes the defense lets you down.
And there was a pretty good chunk of April where the offense just wasn't humming along.
And it's almost like it's coincided with the emergence of Kazuma Okamoto.
that suddenly the offense looks that much scarier.
And we saw a lot last year where one or two guys in the lineup would really kick it up a notch, and it would have this trickle-down effect throughout the rest of the lineup.
So you see again today, Okamoto has a monster home run, which we'll talk about a little bit later, just how effortless his power seems.
But then you get into the mild straws of the Davis Schneider, Brandon Valenzuela with an absolute missile of his own.
And that's the type of thing that you saw a lot last year.
One guy steps up and everybody else follows through.
And you're starting to see it more and more regularly with this team.
And boy, are they looking dangerous when they have that many contributions up and down the lineup?
It's a very reminiscent win of the 2025 season.
Honestly, I hope I'm there for that game because I would love to have it.
