And it really, it's helpful to Vladdy, not just because of the protection aspect of it, but it keeps the conversation away from the power numbers because you're getting the power supplied in other spots of the lineup where it just doesn't mean as much that Vladdy only has two home runs in
this season.
So you really can't say enough about just how great Kazuma Okamoto has been.
He's become a fan favorite rather quickly here.
And the Blue Jays have needed every big swing that he's been able to provide.
He was a guy that should have tapped, too.
That's 453 to left field.
Yeah.
I mean, that's why, you know, Okamoto's home run, obviously we'll get all the headlines, but I almost think that the single up the middle was almost a more impressive at bat in many ways to me because he, he works it to three, two, it was two, two.
He took the splitter for a ball.
And then he gets a sinker at the bottom of the zone and he puts it into center field and it cashes in another RBI to tie the game.
And at the beginning of the season, that's a pitch that he probably strikes out on.
He just did not look comfortable at any point, really, in the first three, four weeks of the season.
And now he's got the confidence moving to a point where he takes that opportunity.
3-2 pitch, and then again, or he takes the 2-2 pitch for a ball and then is able to deposit the single into center field.
So just a huge, huge at-bat in a big moment.
Not really keyed everything for the Blue Jays moving forward in that eighth inning.
It was huge.
It's just ridiculous to watch that happen again.
It's like the guy is battled to come back.
