I think that's a big misconception.
And that might come as a surprise to some people because there's a lot of narrative out on social media that other countries have banned them.
Yeah, I mean, at the end of the day, salt is salt, right?
So salt is going to enact the same things in your body as any kind of salt.
So pink Himalayan sea salt or sodium chloride, the white iodized salt.
I think where a lot of these new salts come from is this idea because we fortify salt in our country with iodine and to help reduce risk of goiters, which has been extremely effective, an extremely effective public health kind of movement.
Yeah, many on social media are based on belief systems.
Or fallacies, like the naturalistic fallacy.
Yeah, I think this, again, kind of is this idea that natural is better, right?
So milk comes naturally raw.
I also learned that there's a misconception.
It's cool to have the social media following that I have because I can interact with a lot of people.
And so I found that there was a big misconception of what pasteurization is.
Many people thought that we were adding chemicals to milk in the pasteurization process, and they didn't realize that it's literally just heating milk.
