That face where she cannot contain her excitement on her face when she looks at you.
I knew that she was just excited for school because even though her brother's not there, she's nearly seven.
I think one of them was maybe eight.
Yeah, I think Tay was eight.
I keep telling you, you might be like Tay.
But I had this thought on the weekend, by the way, that my first weekend of Saturday sport, and I've lived in a world of dread for the day to come, and I had this sort of, this kind of, not epiphany, realisation that, you know, when you are in the depths of young children, and you, I know you know this very well,
the weekends come around and like the weekends are sort of no different and they're not that they can feel flat because you've parented all weekend all week with children at home because you know well for those of us who had children at home and didn't work full-time you know what I mean um
They're not in daycare every day.
And then the weekends is the same.
And you kind of look around going like, what should we do?
What do we do?
We need plans.
But I really enjoyed having the Saturday sport on.
focus focus for the first time i thought this is cool and we're out for a good portion and you know unlike you we come home and we don't have another sport to go to but um it's quite cool you've only just got one game like one one each yeah um anyway on saturday bo played ripper and nina played hockey and did he play a rugby did he play the game on saturday he played the game on saturday and how did he go
Dorian took him which was risky business he was fine and then I called at like half time and he heard me on the phone and then the coach said to him it's going to be your turn with the ball and he didn't want to go on so I'm just happy I'm taking it as a win he went on and he didn't cry it's fine turns out that hockey is quite a cool sport I didn't know that hockey was a sport for the girls that couldn't catch
I just feel like I think it's actually really cool.
I think the actual issue was we were all shit at it.
So we didn't like it.
