Like that doesn't feel good.
And you know what?
You haven't come this far and, you know, gotten to this part in life.
You know, chips is a great example.
You're like, hold on, hold on.
Where's the line?
Because you have a good job, you put in the same time, energy and effort and you're trying really hard and all of that other stuff.
But you're like, but stuff is just so expensive.
So I now feel like I'm not even living the same life as I was before, but I'm maybe even putting in more effort now or saving better or investing better, but I still can't afford chibis.
Like what the hell is going on?
So I think, yes, lifestyle creep is something to be in like,
aware of.
And as you said, Jess, my favorite example is makeup, but it's not always that.
Lifestyle creep is not your life inflating.
So I mean, if rent is the problem, yes, that's not your fault.
But I mean, if you've just upgraded to a three bedroom house and you're a single dude, that's probably a different story that maybe is lifestyle creep.
I think you just need to look at it between the discretionary items that you're purchasing and the essentials.
And that's probably where your answer is.
