And that could well be the case.
I could well go public if there is another pregnancy.
But in that moment in time, given the resources I had and the information I had, I made that very personal choice.
But I absolutely do not think a physician would discriminate against, you know, a
private patient versus a public patient.
I think it's been a really interesting discussion and I suppose everyone that has spoken fundamentally agrees about the need for better public healthcare.
And, you know, it might be an incoherent system at times that, you know, in maternity care makes women fearful.
I think we can, and women, you know, get different messages and it's sometimes really difficult to choose when you're in that, again, very vulnerable state.
Just to link it back to the article again, you know, the posh push, I think it just reflects a view of women that is degrading and, you know, ultimately the state needs to continue building adequate medical facilities for women and children and not have it take decades and decades.
But I appreciate all the comments that were made and some really interesting opinions and, you know, hopefully this discussion drives some change.
