And it was a little different than I viewed it, you know, in the America, you know, at the beginning of the season where I'm like, okay, I don't believe the raise.
And I think, you know, the other four teams could all be in the mix.
I think that Boston's the team that's kind of fallen back and Tampa has jumped over them.
No, I do not think that will be the case.
In fact, what was interesting was my tenure in the front office, part of that included when we traded for Mike Piazza at the time.
When he first came over, his first two months, he really struggled.
And the fans were booing him mercilessly.
And if you had asked me during that period of time, I'm like, no, this guy's never going to sign back with the Mets.
And he went on a run.
he resigned and he's going into Hall of Fame as a Met, right?
So I'm not saying Bo's going to be around like that with Piazza.
However, it's gotten off to a bit of a rocky start, but Bo's handled himself really, really well.
He answered all the questions in the right way.
And I think his struggles have been more like we've seen with some other free agents that changed teams, which is
Trying to do more than they have to.
Trying to prove their worth.
Trying to prove themselves to their teammates.
That added pressure that, you know, it happens to a lot of free agents.
And it did this year with Kyle Tucker.
It happened with Alonzo.
