There was this desperation for something better, no?

You know what's happening in Portugal, amongst other things, Americans...
Yeah, but it's particularly Americans over the last couple of years because a lot of direct flights from the States to Lisbon have come on and Americans are going in there.
And when I go to Waterford... You're a man from Waterford who goes there a lot.
Yeah, I go there a lot.
And the American accents you hear, the Brits are always there, but the American accents you hear are certainly new.
And, yeah, that's certainly driving price up.
But the Portuguese economy has actually been doing OK as well.
I mean, back in the day when we were analysing the run up to EMU, if you remember that term, the garlic belt, Italy, Greece, Spain, Portugal, those garlic belt.
Belt countries are now outperforming the Northern European.
Yeah, yeah.
Portugal is doing well also, you know.
Can you identify any politician in the UK, in Great Britain at the moment, who could actually, has the ability to improve the US, the UK economy over the next two, three, five years?
