Whereas if you look at that squad with Amarant, they were trying to over-complicate everything.
Kobe Maynard was getting dropped.
There was always...
well yeah but now he's just signed the new deal and there's now there was constant talk and debate about certain players and individuals in that sort of camp but now it seems like he's gone he's gone to basics right this is what we're doing we're doing this and that's it whether he's like it or not
Exactly, and that's what I think Amarant was trying to do.
All these players are being brought in for this 3-4-3 sort of style that doesn't really fit.
I know they're kind of playing a three-back at the minute, but you watch them against, like, Brentford last night, and they did against, I don't know, City a couple of months back, or whoever, and the juxtaposition of the football that they're playing.
He's a ship, hasn't he?
And that's what United need.
Because them and Chelsea specifically have fell off a cliff the last couple of years.
Especially United last year finishing what?
It was the 15th.
But that's the lowest I think they've ever finished in Premier League history.
And that's an all-time low for them.
Football didn't start with Premier League.
It's great.
but then even like jealous and that's not it's fantastic it's a joy you know even like the start of the season it weren't great at all they tried to stick with hammering and stick with this kind of plan but they needed someone to come in and get the basics right instead of the ship which character's done but i think now next season they'll look at it and go all right we've now got this is what we've got who shoots this what's our vision for the next five years and that's what and that's what i think they'll look to do if they're sensible well a lot of the management around them and the ownership would indicate that there's no greater sensible choices
But you look at the two biggest prospects and managers across the last 18, 24 months have been Iriola and Glasner.
Glasner's announced he's leaving at the end of the summer as well, and he's had sort of rumours and ties to United.
So I think that's kind of where it's going to go.
