He has this great line about how real self-confidence is not shouting affirmations in the mirror.

Real self-confidence comes from giving the world irrefutable proof you are who you say you are.

So that thing of like going, I am fundamentally a stand-up comic.

Everything else is kind of a side hustle.

But I'm a stand-up comic.

That's what I do for a living sort of eight times a week.

Get up there and put on a show.

I think you could, yeah, you could say that, but I think it's just, it's authentic comedy.

I think I'm not a grifter, so I don't sell something that I wouldn't buy.

It's got to be my sense of humour and that's what makes me laugh.

For better or for worse, my crazy, ha, ha, innie laugh comes on when it's... Like a haunted seagull, someone said in a review.
