I feel like, as you were mentioning earlier, with the loneliness and anxiety that exists, a lot of people either struggle to know what to say.
I think we live in a society where people are like, well, what do I say if they've gone through that?
And the opposite end, what you just said, being able to be open enough to actually receive help requires a certain amount of courage and strength as well.
Yeah.

Social support is one of the strongest predictors of resilience in the face of trauma.
What the president reminds us is that helping doesn't require perfect words or solutions.
It can simply require presence.
To reach out when someone is struggling, to show up when it would be easier to stay away, and to listen fully so the people we love know they matter.
Because sometimes the greatest gift we can give is simply not letting someone go through it alone.
