And the Dutch government has seized the assets of a quite a large semiconductor business from a Chinese company called Nexperia.

What's going on there?

I'm thinking if you're a senior manager in Philips or ASML and you're in China, that you're very nervous.

How do you prevent expropriation of assets when you've got a one-party state that can do whatever it wants?

That's going to be a real issue.

And it might not be Dutch companies.

It might just be other European companies.

Now, one of the biggest media mergers in history is stalled, but it's still potentially on the table.

This is Paramount trying to buy Warner Brothers Discovery.

That could be a massive gig.

Second richest man in the world?

Yeah, it would change the landscape, of course, if Paramount does get its hand on Warner Brothers Discovery.

So let's watch that one carefully.
