loved ones or people getting sick, other people breaking the rules was now not just, well, it's a free country, do what you want.

It was now like somehow endangering, I felt at the time, everyone.

And so I kind of had this like, let's bonhomie and more kind of, you know.

Not quite curtain twitchy about it, but like.

That's a good way to look at it.

I definitely got out of the habit of socialising a bit.

Yeah, yeah, 100%.

I was on a serious brunch train.

You know what I mean?

It's like, who are we having brunch with today?

And it's just never actually, it's never even rekindled.

find I'm much quicker to go in and wash hands if I've shaken a lot of hands.

And that would never have occurred to me before.

Yeah.

I mean, yeah, I look forward to, as you say, in 20, 30 years when the post-COVID world is really settling into some patterns and some smart people can make sense of what effect it had on us all.

And it will be different in different parts of the world, of course.

But I was saying to you, I mean, and who knows if now we're in this age, like wars and like human life being seemingly not very valuable.

But like COVID was the first time in my living memory where lots of people were publicly talking about like,

You know, and that was kind of the first time I was like, geez, it's quite jolting to hear human life diminished in value in this way, like in policy terms.

I've no doubt they talk about that way at times behind the scenes, but like, we used to do a radio discussion.
