And I was like, I'm not going there.
I'm not going there.
Didn't really have it.
He's pulled a score out, but he didn't have it.
His swing isn't there, but he clearly has a confidence that he can get himself out of trouble there.
And there's not the panic of when he is in trouble that we've seen in the past and the anxiety because of everything that hung over that.
And then Friday night happened.
Still didn't have it.
And everyone was like, it's over.
I was like, it's not over.
It's not.
And I was, in a way, I was really glad that Saturday happened to him because I think that helped him then get over the line on Sunday because it was easier for him to have a bad round on a Saturday than a Sunday.
And also it probably just maybe put the brakes on in his brain a little bit and he understood,
It's that debate always with Rory and it happened last year.
And I remember Padraig Harrington talking about it on the podcast that you did with him about the mistakes that he made last year was when he was playing defensive golf and it's not comfortable for him.
And so actually what helped him get over the line, I think, last night was the moments early on where he stumbled and he actually had to press the accelerator because he's more comfortable and more fluid within himself when he can play aggressive golf rather than defensive golf.
Yeah.
Yeah.
And so many people were supporting him as well because of his near misses and last year in particular and how magnanimous he was in that moment when Rory did it.
And so I think if he had got over the line, there would have been an awful lot of love for it.
