They don't hide the fact that they're not spending any money.
They're just telling you point blank, like, listen, we paid for Jose Ramirez and everything else has to work out on its own.
We're not putting any money aside for anybody else.
But they keep developing pitching.
They just keep finding ways to develop young pitchers.
And they're not always young.
Sometimes they're castaways from other teams sometimes.
They just keep finding what they don't score any runs.
They haven't scored any runs in 10 years, but they keep getting to the top of a, you know, a flawed division, obviously a weak division.
And, and, you know, you got to give them a lot of credit.
I mean, that's a very smart thing.
And it's a smart organization run by a very cheap ownership group, in my view.
But you can overcome that if that's what you're going to be.
If the Red Sox decided that's what they're going to be, then you should plan accordingly.
But you can't be the Boston Red Sox and be a cheap organization.
I mean, with the money they pour in.
Pull in with their history, with their recent success.
I mean, it's kind of shameful.
And New England's not going to put up with it.
And so I feel for Mike.
