And that was 20 years ago.
And, you know, Mike was at that point, this was pre Parks and Rec.
I mean, he had he had just, I believe, just left the office to to do Parks and Rec.
And so this is, you know, this is both of us kind of I had just started at Sports Illustrated.
It was kind of both of us at the very beginning in a lot of ways of of of what our careers would end up becoming.
And
we just sort of naturally decided we ought to do fun stuff like like like our friendship should be about doing fun stuff you know we're we're both writers but we're in different parts of of of writing and we ought to go to spring training together we ought to go to the baseball hall of fame together we ought to do a podcast that we
They've never made a dime off of and maybe, you know, give some money to charity.
Like this was the whole point of it was fun.
And so when Mike came up with this idea and he called me with it, it was like, yeah, this is kind of what we were destined to do in a lot of ways.
It was awesome.
It was really, really great.
And I mean, there are a lot of reasons for it.
It's really, look, we've just had a blast.
I mean, we've been on tour now for a couple of weeks and, you know, some of it is events and some of it's media.
And we just have a great time.
We love talking about this book and it's fun.
But the real reason it was so good, I wrote a little bit about this today, is Seth Meyers is so good at this.
He's just so good.
And look, Mike and Seth are,
