nobody could beat him it took a while but the thing is arm wrestling got cool you know to a degree where we were on espn uh governments started to recognize it so if you were from the right country you know you could be a pro arm wrestler like if you're from georgia or turkey or kazakhstan you know so the level started rising when did this start happening

I think that governments started to recognize it.

I'm going to guess here that a lot of them started to do it around the turn of the millennia.

But it takes a long time for it all to like get in.

And some countries are still switching over.

I think Sweden just got recognized like I think within the last year or so.

But once a country recognizes it as a sport, it's a massive influx of cash and money.
