During COVID, scientists studying social distancing noticed that people seem to prefer moving counterclockwise.

That's so weird.

Tendency is fundamentally individual rather than a collective.

What does that mean?

So every individual does it, I guess, rather than a group of people just following the leader.

Pretty wild.

So when people get lost, but some people have just zero experience being in the woods at all, and they just don't know where to go.

Where are we?

And they just fucking freak out.

And then they panic because they think, what's out there?

Oh, my God, I'm going to die.

And you realize that once you're out there that nature doesn't give a fuck if you make it.

No.

It doesn't care.
