Like it was nuts.

And my manager actually thought I had a gambling problem because I was spending so much money.

And he was like, what are you spending money on?

I'm like eating lobster every night.

I'm like, what?

I was so dumb.

I thought I was just going to run out and then I'd go back to being poor again.

But all of a sudden I'm on this show and I'm acting.

And I realized at the end of five years it was a wonderful job with an amazing, incredible group of talented people.

But I don't want to do it again.

It's not my thing.

I don't like it.

So when Fear Factor came up, I'm like, ooh, this is a way to make a lot of money without doing anything that's acting.

Okay, I'll do it.

And so –

dealing with these people that I'd seen the impact of their words on all the people that I worked with.

Like we used to sit around, you know, you have the table reads and then people would start reading Variety and they'd start reading The Hollywood Reporter and all those different things and they would all be super bummed out and I would call it the devil's rag.

So I'd go there, oh, you guys are reading the devil's rag again?

I'd go, fucking throw that away.

It was like the early versions of don't read the comments.
